£762m Lincolnshire highways maintenance up for renewal
Lincolnshire County Council is planning a bidders day ahead of inviting bids for a £762m highways maintenance framework.
Work has been split across three lots covering highways works, traffic signals and design services, with the framework due to run for another six years with the opportunity to extend to 12 years.
The current Lincolnshire Highways Alliance is due to reach full term at the end of March 2020. Kier, consultant WSP and traffic management specialist Dynniq are the present incumbents which will be seeking to retain their positions.
LCC is keen to test the direction of travel with the market prior to commencing the formal procurement process. To do this LCC are proposing to hold a Meet the Buyer Day and would request that all interested parties register interest.
Before procurement formally begins on the 16 July, the council plans to hold a meet the buyers event to discuss the approach it is proposing.
This will take place in Lincoln on 18 May. To book your place e-mail the council.
