£90m London contract set for bidding
Contractors have been put on notice that Camden Council will soon open bids for highways contracts worth a combined £90m.
The local authority is looking for two companies to provide maintenance and improvement works to public streets, with each firm covering a different part of the borough.
A prior information notice said the contracts will run for five years from April 2021, with a possibility of a three-year extension to both.
It has launched a market engagement survey which asks firms questions including whether they foresee the restrictions companies have to follow during the coronavirus crisis causing issues during either the tender process or in implementing the contract.
The questionnaire can be accessed here.
