As more larger-scale construction projects are being planned and prepared while life returns to some normality, it is essential to ensure that your site has all the facilities necessary to keep your staff and visitors safe and comfortable so that they can go about their work with ease.

Border Group, the Cumbrian-based company which specialises in barrier and toilet hire, has recently invested in its own range of welfare units to do just that.

Named the “Border Eco Cabins”, these well-spec’d towable units offer flexible and secure accommodation for on-site staff, providing an ideal space to meet, eat or rest, with private toilet facilities and a warm area so that damp clothes are dried quickly.

Henry Lloyd, Border Group’s Managing Director, commented: “It is important to Border Group to be a true one-stop shop for our customers and, in addition to the barrier solutions we offer, welfare units are a popular solution for our customers across the country. Our old welfare units were due an upgrade so we have recently invested in these brand-new units to ensure our customers get the high-quality facilities they require.

“These Eco Cabins are so named because they have solar panels to provide built-in power to run the lights, drying room, WC, and canteen/kitchen area. The addition of charging points – vital in this day and age – make them a genuine portable office and a pleasant environment for any on-site team. They are proving popular already and several are out on hire for weeks or months at a time.”
