Andy Casson joining the board of directors, taking up the position of Operations Director
In order for BT-HS to continue to improve its provisions within the Traffic Management, Emergency and Multi-Utility industries, as well as to properly reflect and support its growth and ambitions moving forward, BT-HS is delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Casson to the board of directors, taking up the position of Operations Director.
Since joining BT-HS 2019 as the company’s Business Manager, Andy has been an integral part of the team, and a personification of BT-HS’ company values and products.
Andy has carried out both internal, and external training programmes to understand the specifics of complex vehicle
specifications and manufacturing, which included the intrinsic nature of the Traffic Management industry within the hire sector.
Such training includes business development, customer service, IOSH health and safety, fire safety, advanced first aid, Institute of road traffic engineer training and society of operational engineers training.
MD Phil Glaiser spoke glowingly of Andy as he commented:
“Our aim as a company is to continue to raise our profile in terms of the safety and quality of products we provide.
“A significant part of this profile drive involves developing people within the business and creating a culture where we all play our part in the company’s shared success. From the outset, I wanted BT-HS to be a company where everyone can thrive. Our service and commitment to our customers and the products we supply are directly affected by the team and our culture.
“Andy has been a key factor in moving the business forward since he joined us. He has achieved this by understanding the importance of the vehicles we provide, the investment they represent to our customers and by building strategic relationships with our customers and suppliers alike. He has taken every opportunity provided with both hands and has tackled every challenge faced with the sort of dedication and passion worthy of being a company Director.”
Andy told us:
“It’s a proud day for me to take up this role, and I’m grateful for the opportunity provided. We’re looking towards future growth and to be a part of that from Director level is a challenge I’m excited to take on.”
We asked Andy what his goals are for 2021, to be told us:
“Part of my new role involves driving forward the company Health and Safety and Environmental policies, along with our customer and supplier relationships. More than anything I am looking forward to enhancing our company profile across all the sectors we work in.”
