Crash Cushion Rental Solutions Ltd (CCRS) is gaining an enviable reputation in the traffic management rental industry.

CCRS build their IPV’S onto IVECO Eurocargo chassis with the Verdegro impact cushion.

All of CCRS vehicles are Euro 6, LEZ, CLOCS and FORS compliant they also boast online tracking, online document tracking, 6 camera recordable CCTV, additional lighting and safety features and nearside step sensors.

CCRS provide all of their vehicles with full roadside repair and maintenance program supported from the main dealer network. CCRS Fleet manager Phil Glaiser explains the reason behind this “we decided that regardless of the substantial cost involved, no one could provide the prompt response time and experience required out side of the dealer network”

The 6 camera recording system boasts an arial body camera and cone well viewable cameras. It is designed to reduce the risks of accident and injury by enabling the driver to be able to view the operatives while they work on and around the vehicle.

Phil states “The addition of cameras to ensure the driver can see the operatives was easy. We had made a decision to add cameras to all our vehicles and wanted to ensure they benefited everyone. All drivers of our vehicles can see the operatives working on the rear from either the aerial body camera or from the two cone well viewable cameras. CCRS announced they have also gained the Fleet Operation Recognition Scheme (FORS). FORS, is a voluntary accreditation scheme focusing on improving vehicle safety and the awareness of vulnerable road users.

Phil continues “FORS is a great way for us to align with many of our customer’s safety requirements and goals. It is vitally Important to us to ensure the safety of our hirer, road users, vehicles operatives and vulnerable road users alike. Likewise we have come a long way in the last 12 months of operating. We have gained accreditations with SMAS, CHAS and working towards ISO9001. We are also proud members of the British Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA).
