Chevron Win Highways Agency Traffic Management Deal
The Highways Agency recently announced Chevron as a winner of the UKs biggest traffic management deal worth £560m.

Chevrons rich history spanning from 1979 has resulted in a wealth of experience leading to the highest scoring traffic management provider for highways sector schemes 12A 12B 12C and 12D.
The contractor will be channelling their expertise to Britains high speed dual carriageways as well as urban and rural roads throughout the four year contract. This will include full design installation maintenance and removal of static temporary traffic management measures.
One catalyst to success is Chevrons commitment to workforce safety standards; achieved through being affiliated with the Road Workers Safety Forum and the British Safety Council. Working so closely with esteemed sources of best practise and discussion has resulted in a top industry safety record of zero accidents over three years amounting to 1.8 million work hours.
The Highways Agency has commissioned Chevron to cover motorways trunk roads and local roads across four main regions.
Chevron has pushed beyond the layers of competition for this Highways Agency contract standing out with the largest in-house LATRA trained TM workforce using their in house LANTRA Awards training centre.
We can expect to see major project and managed motorway contractors as well as ASF MAC and ASC contract with framework contractors.
