CIHT | The Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation Launches Young Professional Conference
The CIHT’s ‘Future of Transport’ Conference comes to The Studio, Leeds, on 15th November 2018
CIHT’s The Future of Transport event has been developed by young professionals to bring together the transport sector’s vibrant and diverse community.
Designed to engage, enable and empower early career professionals, from across the highways and transportation sector, the conference focusses on the future of transport, offering opportunities throughout the day to learn about the latest innovations and technologies, new thinking and future projects, as well as provide support and advice for career development. The conference offers a real opportunity to network with contemporaries from across from across the whole supply chain – public sector, consultant, contractor and academia.
Highlights of the programme to date include sessions from Google, Uber and DFT.
‘We’ve had fantastic industry support for this event’ said Terri Myers – CIHT’s Membership Manager. Already Amey, Tarmac, Colas, A-one+, Mott MacDonald, Ringway Jacobs, Costain, Kier, Ringway, FM Conway and ACO have joined forces and signed up to become a ‘Young Professionals Supporter’ – the aim, to encourage shared learning opportunities for the transportation sector’s future generation.
Both CIHT members and non-members are invited to attend, but tickets are already selling fast.
