Coeval | Equestrian Safety System Can Help Traffic Engineers

Coeval would like to share an innovative scheme recently undertaken to assist in reducing incidents with vehicles and horses at a riding school located adjacent to the A76 near Kilmarnock on the Scottish trunk road network.
Due to various factors including multiple crossing points , traffic volumes , high speeds etc. there became an urgent need to provide a warning to drivers when horses were in the vicinity of the trunk road network at this location.
In addition to the pole mounted pushbutton technology currently used remote and handheld activation are also available .
A great deal of interest has been shown by the equestrian community and we believe this adaptable solution is a valuable addition to the Coeval portfolio and a useful tool for Traffic engineers with similar issues.
