Crown Plus – Setting in motion the strategic vision for the next decade of growth

This year sees Crown Plus celebrate its 10-year anniversary.

Gary Price and Paul Conner established the company in 2015 with the vision of creating a business that provided efficient and sustainable highway drainage remediation solutions.  Since then, the company has developed a solid reputation for its operational delivery, innovative specialist highways remediation technology and developing a strong operations team who share the company’s values for high quality delivery and service.

With the company on a steep growth trajectory, 2024 has seen significant senior appointments with Stewart Astley joining as Financial Director and Paul Hancock as Business Development Manager, both of whom bring a track record of delivering high level results.

As part of overseeing this growth trajectory and steering the vision for the future, Crown Plus are delighted to announce the appointment of Ken Harland as Chairman to support the Directors in delivering Crown Plus’s strategy and supporting the business to achieve its potential, whilst maintaining the company’s core values.

With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Ken brings a wealth of experience in delivering highways infrastructure projects both domestically and internationally, with a background which includes senior leadership roles in the highway maintenance sector and extensive expertise across public and private sector organisations.  Ken is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Fellow of The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (FCIHT), and a Member of The Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE). His extensive career includes key roles in major projects across the UK, Middle East and USA, as well as the strategic management of high-value highway maintenance contracts.
