Entry deadlines approach for Highways UK’s innovation-based competitions in the digital technology and materials spaces.
The entry deadline for both the Costain-sponsored Intelligent Infrastructure Challenge (IIC) and the MPA Materials Innovation Hub (MIH) challenge is 31 July.
Intelligent Infrastructure
The Costain-sponsored Intelligent Infrastructure Challenge is a proven way of connecting innovative ideas with real world highways clients. This year’s challenge competition is looking for intelligent/digital technology innovations that provide solutions to industry challenges of safety, air pollution, cost and congestion. Short-listed entries will be invited to present to a panel of judges using a “dragon’s den” style format at Highways UK in November.

Materials Innovations
The Mineral Products Association-sponsored Materials Innovation Hub is a showcase for innovations in the materials, components and processes used during the construction and maintenance of highways projects. Short-listed entries will be invited to present to a panel of judges using a “dragon’s den” style format at Highways UK in November.
