DELTA BLOC UK | Growth makes the team expand
The DELTA BLOC UK team has expanded dramatically recently with the addition of 4 new team members. Due to the business growth and increased workload, the need for a bigger workforce has led the recruitment drive.
So, who are they? What are their roles? And what are their main duties?

Jackie Corson – Project Coordinator
Our Project Coordinator is responsible for the administration and organisation all types of projects, from simple orders to more complex contracts. The Project Coordinator works very closely with our Contracts Manager to prepare action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. There are various coordinating tasks to be performed, like delivery schedules and sub-contractor management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high-quality standards.
Jackie’s background is in precast concrete manufacture so she brings with her a wealth of experience in the supply and installation of construction materials
Rob Stewart – Senior QS
Our Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to provide commercial support to the Contracts Team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and ensure that the Company’s business objectives are achieved. The Senior Quantity Surveyor liaises with client representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including the submission of monthly valuations, agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.
Rob has over 30 years experience in the construction industry, and as a former professional boxer has all the right attributes to deal with those tough contract negotiations!
Martyn Fielding – Production Manager
Our Production Manager plays a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients to develop new business opportunities. The Production Manager, is involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes through our supply chain partners, making sure our barrier products are produced efficiently and to specification.
Martyn has over 25 year experience in the ready mix concrete and aggregate industry so has an abundance of transferable skill that will benefit our manufacturing operations
Sally Webster – Management Accountant
Decisions made by the business rely substantially on accurate accounts information, and the primary role of our Management Accountant is to provide information to management for internal decision making, with an emphasis on planning and control. The role primarily involves financial data collection, entry and report generation.
Sally is an extremely competent accountant with over 30 years experience working for a variety of industries, from SME’s to large manufacturing companies and brings a wealth of knowledge to the DELTA BLOC business.
As DELTA BLOC UK continues to grow, more recruitment is on the horizon. So expect the team to grow further in late 2018/early 2019.
