Delta Bloc UK | New starters give a boost to the team as company continues to grow
Delta Bloc UK, leading supplier and installer of precast concrete road restraint systems welcomes two new starters to the team.
Sunny Notey now joins the team as Senior Quantity Surveyor, bringing extensive expertise. For the last 10 years, Sunny has worked for Tier 1 giant Balfour Beatty as a Quantity Surveyor.
During his time at Balfour Beatty, one of the largest contractors in the UK, Sunny worked on several high-profile highway and construction projects where he was responsible for key responsibilities such as contract review, monthly forecasting and cost management.
Sunny will now be required to work closely with the Delta Bloc contracts team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements to ensure Delta Bloc UK’s business objectives are achieved.
Andy Evans is the new company Construction Manager and joins Delta Bloc after several years of project management in the highways industry. Andy’s previous role saw him handle the management of the workforce, plant, materials, suppliers and subcontractors across a number of high-profile motorway schemes.
Andy will oversee site-based operations at Delta Bloc on a day-to-day basis, ensuring work is carried out safely, on-time and within budget to the highest standards of quality.
It’s that message of quality Delta Bloc Director Tony Walker was keen to address with these recruits:
“Growth, albeit involves quantity, is certainly centred around quality for us. It’s about getting the right people and not just recruiting a huge team for the sake of it.
“Being able to add two high quality, proven, experienced individuals from the sector to our team is something we’re all excited about. So far, both guys have fit in great so we look forward to seeing them develop, help them to achieve their personal aspirations which in turn will help Delta Bloc UK achieve ours.”
