DELTABLOC | What does gold standard really mean?
Accreditations are often seen as the cornerstone of quality for a company. Independent verification and seals of approval that indicate a number of things about a business.
Even within officially recognised accreditations, there are levels.
DELTABLOC is now proud to announce that they have recently achieved the prestigious Constructionline Gold standard.
DELTABLOC is the world’s leading developer of concrete vehicle restraint systems. Under constant development, testing and improvement for more than two decades, patented DELTABLOC® concrete barriers are now successfully installed in over 45 countries across the world.
With a growing number of license partners utilizing the DELTABLOC technology and implementing their sophisticated turn-key production system, DELTABLOC always ensures that they continually redefine the highest standards for passive road safety worldwide.
Tens of thousands of buyers rely on the Constructionline platform to identify construction suppliers.
Buyers use the platform to quickly find suppliers that will enable them to complete a whole range of projects.
Constructionline validate all members, providing buyers with a pool of high-quality suppliers that they can confidently engage with.
What is the Gold standard?
Gold membership builds on the benefits and features provided by Constructionline’s original membership by increasing the level of scrutiny and risk management.
It adds to the mix an extended verified PQQ to enable buyers to keep up to date with emerging legislation changes, such as Modern Slavery, Anti-bribery and Corruption, and Equal Opportunities.
Gold membership also includes additional Health and Safety accreditation, Acclaim, a member of SSIP. Acclaim Accreditation is delivered by Safety Award winning Capita and is backed by 28 years Health and Safety knowledge and experience.
Tony Walker, DELTABLOC UK MD told us:
“The pre-qualification process is constantly evolving, and buyers are now placing a much greater emphasis on supplier credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies.
“Given the increased level of scrutiny, we felt we needed greater recognition of the policies and procedures we already had in place within the business. We already held Constructionline Silver membership, so for us, the upgrade to Gold was a seamless transition.
“Our Gold membership will provide us with a much greater chance of working with the UK’s top main contractors.”
