Driving Down | Driving Down saves Multevo Limited over £35k on their annual fuel costs

Like many service delivery businesses, Multevo Limited has a large fleet of over 256 vehicles and fuel costs are an increasing business expense as the company continues to grow.

Ensuring they’re on the best price is vital for them in order to keep costs competitive and continue their great work in highways, vegetation management, tree works, traffic management and civils.

However, switching their cards every 6 months for a ‘better deal’ is a logistical nightmare which causes more issues overall than the benefit of switching. Luckily this is where Driving Down came in.

Driving Down analysed their invoices from their current provider and identified savings of over £3,000 per month, all by keeping the same provider and the same cards but outsourcing the management to them.

Since signing up in June 2022, Multevo has seen total fuel savings of over £35,000 back in their business. Plus it has allowed time for the people within the business to focus on their roles and responsibilities in order to drive Multevo forward in the industry.

Multevo also receives a monthly report from Driving Down which identifies any usage on their fuelcards which is being surcharged or where the cards aren’t being used to their commercial best. This includes drivers filling up with premium fuels, ‘non-core’ sites etc. This in turn creates better driver behaviours with the cards and reduces unnecessary costs.

As well as managing their fuel, Driving Down has now started the supply of Adblue for their vehicles. Multevo is a business striving to reduce its carbon footprint and as such is ensuring every vehicle is up to the highest emission standards using premium additives.
