Eurovia the only contractor to successfully secure a position on all three Lots of the £90m Hertfordshire Highways Structural Maintenance and Surface Treatments Framework contracts last year has been awarded a new contract to improve the footways across Hertfordshire.
The contract is due to start in October 2013 and will run for six months. The contract covers 86 footway schemes spanning the county that need repairing and improving.
The works will be led by Eurovia Contracting from the company base in Enfield enabling a local collaborative service for Hertfordshire.
On hearing the news of the success Neil Huntington Regional Director Eurovia Contracting said: I am absolutely delighted that we have been awarded this contract. We have a history of successfully working in Hertfordshire and are looking forward to enhancing the footways there over the next six months.
