Safer Highways are delighted to announce the release of the full programme for our 2019 Mental Health Summit.
Taking place at the House of Commons on the 20th June 2019 and with a keynote presentation from Lord Dennis Stevenson, co-author of the government’s ‘Thriving at Work’ report, the event will form the launch pad for the Safer Highways Road to Wellbeing programme.
Other speakers on the programme include:
- Dawn Moore, HR Director, Morgan Sindall
- Gregor Craig, CEO and President, Skanska UK
- Simon Barber, Danny Sculthorpe and Ian Smith, State of Mind
- Clare Forshaw, Health and Wellbeing Partner, Park HS.
Chaired by Karl Simons, Chief Health, Safety & Security Officer at Thames Water the day will act as a call to action for all organisations, large and small to participate in the 2019 road to wellbeing survey.
Working alongside leading organisations, with the aim of benchmarking uptake of the recommendations of the ‘Thriving at Work’ report, this ambitious undertaking will take the form of quantitative and qualitative analysis, developed by leading experts from across the field of wellbeing and led by Clare Forshaw, formerly Head of Centre for Health at the HSE.
Attendees already confirmed at the event, sponsored by Morgan Sindall, include Jill Collis, Health and Safety Director at Transport for London, Fiona King, Head of Occupational Health at HS2 and many senior figures from across infrastructure including Tim Aston, UK and Ireland’s Health and Safety Director of Swissport and Fiona O’Donnell, European Head of Health and Safety for Buildings and Infrastructure at Jacobs.
