Hardstaff Barriers | Golden accreditation from Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme
Hardstaff Barriers has scooped a top award in recognition of the company’s commitment to fleet safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
The multi award-winning manufacturer and supplier of protective barriers and perimeter security systems, received the prestigious Gold accreditation in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).
Hardstaff is proud to enter 2020 with FORS Gold, which is only awarded to exceptional operators who have met exacting targets.
Wes Baker, Fleet and Logistics Manager, at Hardstaff Barriers, said:
“Hardstaff Barriers has achieved significant improvements through FORS including reductions in fuel use and reduced CO2 emissions, lowered NOx and Particulate Matter emissions, improved its road safety record, decreased transport related fines and charges etc.”
FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators.
With over 4,250 members, FORS is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme.
FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance.
FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for those organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements.
Kathryn Cooper, Service Manager, at Hardstaff Barriers, said:
“Achieving FORS Gold is fantastic for Hardstaff. We were very proud to hold FORS Silver, but as a company we are always aspiring for excellence and we put a focus on continual improvement.
“The promotion from Silver status into the Gold bracket is a symbol and an indication of the entire ethos of our company that’s now clear for all to see.”
