Highways England start M11 repair work
Highways England have started patching works from junction 6 (M25) to junction 9 (A11) of the M11.
Work to repair sections of the M11 in both directions started this week (Monday April 9) and is scheduled to last two weeks.
Work will take place on weeknights only, with working hours of 9pm to 6am. Single lane closures will be in place during these works.
An ongoing programme of work to repair damaged safety barriers along the M11 will also continue this week and single lane closures will be in place past the work area from 9pm to 5am on weeknights only.
Highways England said potholes will be repaired using ‘hot box’, which is effectively a ‘more durable treatment’ than cold filling them.
