Highways maintenance work set to begin across Dorset

Their highways maintenance gangs are out across the council area continuing to repair road damage.
They do this by resurfacing and, to allow this work to take place safely, the area of the road being worked on will be closed. Signed diversions will be in place.
They will do their best to keep residents updated if their schedule of work changes. The roads will be open outside of the hours given.
Fitzpain Close, West Parley – 3 and 4 May, closed 9am to 4pm daily.
Christchurch Road, West Parley – 22 May until 26 May, closed 8pm to 6am nightly.
Wimborne Street, Cranborne – 22 May, closed 9am to 4pm.
Edmondsham Road, Verwood – 23 May to 9 June – closed 9am to 4pm daily.
This is not an exhaustive list of all repairs. See their online map to view all planned roadworks across the Dorset Council area, including works undertaken by water, gas and telecoms companies, National Highways and other organisations.
Keeping roads in good condition – surface dressing starts soon
Their spring series of surface dressing, helping to prevent potholes by providing a waterproof seal, starts week commencing 15 May. Look out for more information from them in May.
Need to tell them about an issue?
Please use their online form to report highway-related issues/damage. This goes directly to the local community highways officer for assessment.
