BT-HS – Introducing Hayley Barlow, Hire Fleet Manager at BT-HS

BT-HS is pleased to introduce Hayley Barlow, who plays a central role in keeping the company’s hire fleet moving, compliant, and operating to the high standards BT-HS is known for.

As Hire Fleet Manager, Hayley is responsible for the day-to-day management of BT-HS hire vehicles.

Her role covers everything from ensuring compliance and booking maintenance, to managing breakdowns and acting as the main point of contact for customers hiring vehicles. 

Hayley oversees vehicle preparation before hire, ensuring each one leaves in excellent condition, and carries out checks on return, reporting fleet details back to management and responding to customer enquiries.

It is a role that demands organisation, attention to detail, and constant communication, all of which are critical to keeping specialist vehicles on the road and customers supported.

Experience That Adds Real Value

Before joining BT-HS, Hayley managed engineer fleets at 24|7 Home Rescue. 

There, she worked closely with suppliers, oversaw vehicle fit-outs, and managed stock and fuel cards. That experience has translated seamlessly into her current role, bringing strong fleet management knowledge and a practical understanding of how vehicles need to perform in real operational environments.

Life at BT-HS

Hayley describes BT-HS as a “supportive and close-knit team where everyone works hard, helps each other out, and still finds time for a laugh.”

For her, the most rewarding part of the job is when everything runs smoothly and problems are solved efficiently. 

The most challenging part? Chasing paperwork. “And dealing with Phil” (Glaiser, MD).

Outside of Work

Away from the office, Hayley enjoys spending time at the stables, as well as with family and friends. When she gets the chance, she can also be found trail hunting with the horses, making the most of her time outdoors.
