Infrastructure Technician – Civil/Infrastructure Design
About
Blueprint Recruitment Ltd is currently working with one of the UKs largest engineering consultancies. Our Client is looking for a Infrastructure Technician to join their Edinburgh office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety projects spanning infrastructure, residential, commercial, leisure, master planning and renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
- Designing roads and drainage for infrastructure and development projects
- Working both as part of a multi discipline team and individually, as appropriate.
- Develop skills to progress towards Tech. Eng / Incorporated status
Qualifications / Experience:
- The candidate should have a HND / HNC in Civil Engineering and at least two years’ experience in Civil / Infrastructure design.
Good communication skills – oral and written; - Good knowledge of Roads and drainage design standards and specifications.
- Competency in the operation of AutoCAD (at release 2010 or later) and PDS. MX experience would be useful but not essential.
- Experience in the operation of AutoTrack
- Experience in the operation and application of Microdrainage
