Traffic Management 12A/B Operative
The TM Operative role in an essential puzzle piece at Chevron. The Traffic Management Operative is responsible for installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management, you will deploy cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on both high speed roads. As well as including traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses, so meticulous attention to detail is a must.
General hours of work are 48 hours a week, however due to the nature of the industry the hours are not always sociable, therefore you may be required to work evenings, nights or weekends. Overtime is not guaranteed however you will be required to work overtime as necessary. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.
You will be a highly motivated team player with the urge to progress in the business. You will be able to follow instructions as directed, however you will also be able to use your own initiative when necessary. You will be in good fitness and health as the job can sometimes be very physically demanding. You must hold a full UK driving licence and pass Drug&Alcohol test.
