Kelly Bros | Bournemouth CC calls for help with social distancing
As the government calls for public support and compliance to aid the coronavirus pandemic, local authorities are doing their part to reinforce key information.
In Bournemouth, a number of variable message signs have been deployed across the city, with Kelly Bros providing the units displaying the vital public safety information.
A well-known beach hotspot, Bournemouth is used to a swarm of people heading towards the beach annually as the weather takes a turn for the better. In 2020, the council are actively dissuading people from doing so.
In a twist from the norm, public safety must prevail as we all do what we can to combat further spread of COVID-19.
The Kelly Bros VMS signs are set to show 3 extremely important messages on a loop system – so there is no let up in spreading the right messages. The units show:
- IF IT’S TOO BUSY, DON’T RISK IT
- STAY AT HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES
- KEEP YOUR DISTANCE
Sinead Kelly-Barber, Director of Kelly Bros told us:
“We’re delighted to be able to help Bournemouth Council as they implement their plan to stop the spread of coronavirus.
“We all need to do our bit, and Kelly Bros are taking every step possible to ensure safe working and social distancing as we continue to deliver essential works.
“We’re urging everybody to stay at home and save lives.”
