Kelly Bros | Highways UK wraps up events for 2017
Kelly Brothers brought their events presence for 2017 to a close at Highways UK in November. Keen to meet new contacts and expand an already impressive client base, Kelly Bros exhibited at the show for the first time after hearing good reports from 2016.
Showcasing their Road marking capabilities throughout the UK and Ireland including Thermoplastic, MMA, Anti-Skid, Preformed and Road Studs. Additionally, their Road marking materials including their Anti-Skid and Joint Sealing products. Also, their Solar Variable Message Signs in various sizes additionally Journey time solutions, speed radar, mobile CCTV and permanent mounted VMS.
Kelly Bros were also raising awareness of the ever-growing surveying and asset management arm of their business. The survey vehicle also covers reflectivity of road markings and road studs. All this and 360 degree imaging delivers data collection in a matter of hours rather than weeks of data collection. It has the added benefit of being able to collect the data without closing the road and by one operative.
With over 3,000 delegates, the show enabled Kelly Bros to meet and greet their customers in a relaxed environment, as well as put some faces to names when it comes to potential future clients.
Sinead Kelly-Barber of Kelly Bros spoke to us about their experience at the show:
“We had lots of visitors to our stand and the feedback was really good, particularly about the MB4 sign we had displayed on our stand and our surveying vehicle – not to mention the cakes were a big hit!
“We’ve made plenty of new acquaintances and contacts and we’re positive that this will result in many new clients. Additionally, a few customers showed great interest in other areas of our business that they hadn’t realized we offered.
“In addition to this, it was interesting to be able to meet with other companies in similar fields to ourselves and share some discussions and ideas. It was the best show we’ve attended in 2017. We really liked the aspect of different talks going on around the hall- encouraging delegates to move around and see all aspects of the exhibition.
“We’ll be exhibiting again, and we hope to be able to attend more of the talks and conferences ourselves as the ones we did manage to attend in 2017 were informative and well presented.
“Overall, it’s a big tick from us for Highways UK.”
