SVHL is taking delivery of new EURO 6 traffic management vehicles worth more than £1.5 million. With an increasing demand for vehicles to meet Chapter 8 to cope with government investment in smart motorways SVHL has taken the step of increasing its fleet and proudly boasts the youngest hire fleet in the Traffic Management sector. A further tranche of trucks are planned to join the fleet shortly with the first deliveries expected this September and continuing through to the beginning of 2015.

The latest Euro 6 DAF vehicles are fitted with uprated body features to improve vehicle operation and personnel safety. ALL SVHL crash cushion vehicles are now fully compliant with the TMATA* cushion safety inspection system so there’s no fear of being directed off site for failing to meet strict contractor safety standards that may be imposed.

Introduction of new Health & Safety Guidance

SVHL are receiving enquiries from a number of contractors to provide smaller installation vehicles to meet requirements around the new Health & Safety guidance for protection of TMO’s on High Speed Roads where a blocking vehicle is required to protect the installation vehicle.
