MAC Surfacing | Can’t Get Enough of Charity Causes

The past couple of months have seen a frenzy of charitable activity for Black Country based MAC Surfacing Limited. From boxing to football the sporting theme saw thousands of pounds being raised for two worthwhile national charities.
Managing Director, Marc Copson ditched the comfort of his office to take up the challenge of facing his opponent in the boxing ring at the end of last month. In aid of Cancer Research, Marc bravely donned his boxing gloves to hit back against the devastating illness.
Making it to the third round after seeing off his opponent the Tipton born contestant raised over £5,200 for his participation in the competition. Marc says ‘it was tough and I was completely out of my comfort zone but it was nothing compared to what those more unfortunate than myself must go through battling with cancer every day’.
If that was not enough, MAC Surfacing Limited enlisted the services of former professional footballer for Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, Steve Bull to open a Gift and Craft Fair earlier this month which the company were supporting.
As part of the MacMillan Coffee Morning initiative Sally Gutteridge organised the event with the support of local company MAC Surfacing Limited. The fair saw face painting to the sale of handmade and bespoke gifts and crafts to the all-important homemade cake on offer raising over £2,800.
It is hoped that the money raised will go some way to making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than those of the staff at MAC Surfacing Limited.
