Car Parks are often forgotten about when it comes to ensuring a high-quality road network. With around 20,000 public car parks in the United Kingdom to date – it is vital to ensure these are correctly and efficiently marked out in order to prevent a loss of profit.
If a car park’s line markings are unclear or not marked to spec – confusion could lead to multiple ways in which a loss of profit could occur. Any parking tickets could be refunded due to being made redundant after further inspection as the line markings were unclear. Costs could also go to remarking the area after an inspection has deemed the car park unusable due to incorrect/unclear marking. Additionally, in more extreme cases, charges from an individual or authority could be made regarding the markings if an accident was to occur within the car park.
