MEON | New Concrete Repair Solution
The need for concrete repair is often inevitable. There are a number of reasons it can occur, such as Freeze-Thaw Disintegration, Drying Shrinkage Cracks, and Cracks formed through continuous heavy use, such as HGVs.
It has been reported that in the UK alone, the annual costs of concrete damage to asset owners is well over £1billion. This is put down to multiple reasons, including poor maintenance or installation. However, a large factor of this is due to a substandard concrete repair process when damage first occurs. Much like many other types of damage, if the problem is not repaired properly, the likelihood of the damage reoccurring is very high.
Meon’s latest innovation comes in the form of a strong and easy-to-install concrete repair solution that will provide long lasting results, preventing any damage from reoccurring. HardMaster can be used indoors and outdoors, also in wet areas; and applied using similar methods to cement based materials. It is designed for general concrete repair, where rapid strength, durability and low shrinkage is needed.
HardMaster comes in two different forms of concrete repair: W675 – Smooth, and W670 – Coarse. HardMaster W675 – Smooth gives an untextured finish, making it ideal for some indoor flooring, airports, highways, and even marine applications. However, HardMaster W670 – Coarse gives the opposite texture, providing a rough finish. This makes Hardmaster Coarse the perfect concrete repair option for projects such as the bedding of iron works, post setting, and yard and outdoor floor repairs.
Both types of HardMaster concrete repair are strong, easy to install, and long lasting. However, they also come with their own benefits, making them perfect for their ideal uses.
