Morelock Signs Limited were the first UK traffic sign manufacturer to gain accreditation to BS EN 12899 almost 4 years ago this enabled us to CE mark relevant products from this point.

Knowledge and experience of the sign industry standards and regulations supported by qualifications in technical and graphical design enable us to produce quality drawings complying with DfT (Department for Transport) regulations. Significant investment has been made in Durst Digital ink jet technology which ensures a consistent quality of finish and allows us to have a greater productivity output. This process is also successfully tested and accredited to BS EN 12899.

Another development was Morelock Permanent Glass-resin Reinforced Polyester (MPGRP) offered as an alternative substrate for use on permanent traffic signs. Successfully tested for compliance with BS EN 12899 MPGRP adds a complementary option for signs requiring CE marking. Lighter than conventional aluminium & steel substrates MPGRP is easier to transport install and is often used in areas prone to theft… all of these benefits despite being at a lower cost when compared with conventional aluminium substrate.
