MVIS | Team expansion alongside fleet expansion as service remains #1
Over the years, MVIS has built and established a reputation as being a ‘service first’ company. Put simply: Quality service is everything.
As the company continues to grow, fleet size continues to expand, and demand for their products increases, the company is making sure that these milestones of growth aren’t let down by a failure to forget what created these opportunities to begin with.
That’s why as the MVIS footprint on our road network increases, so does the size of the team behind the scenes.
Over the last 8 months, MVIS has added 6 new faces to their team. The new team members are:
Ian Lee – Customer Relations Manager
Ian is responsible for overseeing our customer activities and working with them to create proactive, long term relationships, promoting MVIS’ exceptional customer service. He also runs our new North East depot.
Sean Brown – Marketing Manager
Sean runs the in-house marketing dept, managing and overseeing all company marketing operations, including design, website, content and other marketing opportunities.
Mizzy Watson – Operations & Customer Service
Mizzy provides support for the Delivery Technicians and ensures their diary is kept up to date in accordance with their workload. She also supports customers to ensure that all deliveries are completed to a satisfactory standard.
Maggie Spencer – Sales Admin
As Sales Admin, Maggie is responsible for taking and receiving calls as well as providing first class support to the sales team. Under the guidance of Sales Manager Graeme Lee, Maggie also generates quotes for customers.
Pip Wood – Purchasing Apprentice
Pip is in charge of maintaining stock records, completing orders and ensuring all product components arrive in the workshop on time and undergo regular quality checks in preparation for our customers.
Jacob Spencer – Technical Apprentice
As a technical apprentice, Jacob builds, repairs and refurbishes our VMS units to ensure that our customers receive high quality, reliable products.
MVIS now hope that this will be the start of long tenures in their roles for the new members of the team. The company has always had a low turnover of staff, which General Manager Anne Ashman believes is largely down to the emphasis placed on development and employee satisfaction.
“A large number of our team have been MVIS personnel for the majority of their professional careers. We think that’s a great indicator of how the team are treated here, as well as showcasing how MVIS develops our workforce.
“A high percentage of our team have been through external accreditations and courses, supported by and paid for by MVIS. Our staff are also given internal training on a monthly basis as to how we continually raise the bar when it comes to service.
“I’m delighted to welcome our new team members and wish them all the best in their futures with us.”
