Network Plus | Network Plus Group acquires Capital Traffic Management
Leading utility and infrastructure service provider, Network Plus, has completed the strategic acquisition of Capital Traffic Management Limited on 4th June 2021.
This forms part of Network Plus’ ambitious growth strategy and follows the successful acquisition and integration of specialist overhead lines contractor, Overlec in 2017.
The acquisition strengthens Network Plus’ traffic management and highways operations, spanning the UK’s major transport network from Scotland through to the South of England.
Established in 2006, Capital Traffic Management has an excellent reputation in the market. The company operates across London and the South East and has secured a number of strategic long term contracts to provide specialist traffic management services.
Capital Traffic Management and Network Plus’ subsidiary Go Traffic Management (GTM) provide complementary solutions ranging from surveys, traffic management design, detailed planning and deployment of low speed and high speed services.
Sam Atherton, Group Business Development and Strategy Director said “This acquisition builds on the significant presence of GTM as one of the UK’s major traffic management providers. The expansion into London and the South of England is a key step in our plan, allowing us to provide better and more efficient services to both existing and new customers.”
“Capital Traffic Management supports a range of clients in the civil engineering, telecoms and multi utility markets. We will work closely with the management team to enable a smooth integration into the group and support the next phase of growth for the business.”
Key personnel at Capital Traffic Management, including Kelly Thompson, will remain with the organisation to ensure continuity of service to clients.
