Overnight closures planned on A35 as Highways England set to carry out maintenance works
A section of the A35 will be closed overnight for three weeks for road repairs.
A section of the route between Stinsford and Bere Regis will close overnight in order for a number of works to be carried out, including resurfacing, drainage repairs, road marking work and grass cutting.
Highways England, which is carrying out the maintenance, say the closures will be overnight on weeknights, between 8pm to 6am, from Monday, July 26 until Saturday, August 14.
A diversion route will be signposted in the area and motorists will be advised to use the A352 and B3390 to bypass the closure. Alternative diversion routes are available to drivers.
A spokesman for Highways England said: “During the resurfacing scheme, we will also be carrying out associated road marking work, as well as drainage repairs, grass cutting and survey work, and during the programme of work, diversion routes, including the A352 and B3390, will be clearly signposted.”
