Quartic Technologies today announced the release of their next-generation data analytics platform for highways maintenance and asset management. By bringing big data techniques to the asset management sector, Quartic’s technology drives better maintenance decisions – cutting costs and improving service.
Developed in partnership with organisations in the highways sector, Quartic has pioneered the use of artificial intelligence to automate maintenance decision making. Their algorithms accurately predict carriageway deterioration, highlight opportunities for cost saving, and intelligently schedule treatments.

Quartic’s hosted Software As A Service (SaaS) platform plugs into industry-standard asset databases, geospatial data, visual and digital survey data (such as HMDIF), IoT data streams, and spreadsheets to build an integrated picture of asset condition and maintenance activity. AI-driven insights are then exposed through a search interface, accessible by anyone in the office or field via a web browser, tablet or mobile device.

Quartic has started production deployments of its platform with a number of maintenance companies in the sector, and is now pursuing further trials on a no-commitment basis.
