R&C | Quality and safety at the forefront of our operations
FORS is an accreditation that recognises and promotes exemplary levels of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions, and operator licensing among fleet operators.
The accreditation is split into four tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum – with operators required to meet increasingly challenging criteria as they progress through the scheme.
Operators who are accredited to FORS demonstrate their commitment to improving their fleet’s safety performance and environmental impact. This in turn helps to create a safer and more sustainable working environment for all road users.
To achieve accreditation, operators must first complete an online self-assessment. They will then be required to undertake an on-site audit, during which their compliance with the FORS Standard will be reviewed.
R&C is delighted to announce that it has achieved FORS bronze accreditation for the second year running.
This accreditation is a testament to their commitment to safety and excellence in fleet management, and they are proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s leading providers of safe and sustainable fleets.
FORS is an accreditation scheme that sets standards for fleet operators, and R&C is committed to meeting these standards in order to provide the best possible service to their clients.
Holding the FORS bronze accreditation not only confirms they are following the path to keeping their staff and roads safer, but the accreditation is also a years worth of effort from all the team.
Richard Toy – Transport Manager told us
‘Operatives have important roles from the daily vehicle walkaround check, load security, driver hours, keeping to safety, and e-learning modules. Our operatives are committed to the FORR accreditation, and this shows on our annual reports, where this information throughout the year is audited.
Confirming we are on the right path, FORS have re-accredited us with the bronze accreditation for the second year running.
Coming from a motor trade background, this gives me confidence that my knowledge of the transport sector is growing.’
