The Highways Passport Silver Award
The Passport Silver is awarded to employers that meet the following criteria:
- Their entire highways workforce is Passport carded
- Their entire highways workforce has completed the Highways Common Induction (HCI)
Gold and Silver Highways Passport status is being implemented as a way of recognising organisations that go above and beyond. Roocroft has worked hard for this status and is dedicated to in-house training with all its staff as part of the quest to deliver the best, and crucially, the safest provision possible.
Lee Robinson, Roocroft Commercial Director told us:
“It’s important to Roocroft as a business to know that our teams and crews are going onto the network safely. The investment in training is one of the most important for our business and we will continue to make sure that we work safely on every project.
“Achieving the Silver Passport Status is something we’re really proud of, as it shows that we practice what we preach when it comes to going above and beyond bare minimum requirements. For us ‘just enough’ certainly isn’t good enough.”
