Safer Highways Launch Top to Toe Protection Review
In anticipation of radical changes around head protection regulation in 2020 Safer Highways has launched its Top to Toe Protection Review around PPE.
These standards will include fundamental change to the design of helmets under new British standards as well as other important changes in standards of head protection.
But it is not just the head we, as employers, need to ensure we protect, our duty of care extends from top-to -toe.
Featuring articles from thought leaders in the field of Personal Protective Equipment, the Safer Highways Top to Toe protection review covers subjects including:
- The History of Head Protection from Centurion’s Chris Tidy;
- The benefits of dynamically monitoring the risk to hearing from David Greenberg at Eave;
- The benefits both from a safety and wellbeing perspective of female specific PPE from Arco;
- The importance of regular eye tests for those who drive to or from work by Specsavers.
Designed in line with the collective values of constantly providing relevant information and showcasing best practice from providers into the sector. This review is the first of four which Safer Highways aim to publish across 2020 around fields including workplace stress and fatigue.
Sitting alongside the critically acclaimed SH Magazine the SH Reviews will further our goal of sharing best practice and collaborative learning throughout the supply chain.
The launch of the review document comes just a few weeks after official launch of details of Safer Highways’ annual flagship event SH L!VE.
The event, which last year welcomed a record number of visitors to Silverstone will return in the Autumn of 2020, bigger and better than ever with more content, more exhibitors and four new innovative feature areas as well as the external dynamic displays which have become its signature trademark.
