SH L!VE: Content Focus – The Amey Safer Highways Wellbeing Theatre

As a part, if the build-up to this year’s SHL!ve we take a look at who is speaking; starting today with the Amey Safer Highways Wellbeing Theatre.
Chaired by Karl Simons, Chief Health, Safety, and Securities Officer at Thames Water and with the underlying theme of Better Wellbeing means Safer and more productive people , the Amey Theatre will examine how, through collaboration and joined-up thinking, we can make not only Highways but also the broader construction and infrastructure sector safer for those who work within it through a more inclusive approach to Health, Wellbeing and Mental Health.

The theatre will also play host to an exclusive invitation-only breakfast briefing from Mark Byard, Health and Safety Director at Highways England and James Haluch, Managing Director, Amey Highways which will examine the past, present and future of health and safety in our sector.
SH! L!ve will take place at the iconic Silverstone Racing Circuit on Wednesday 11th September 2019 from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
The event presents a unique opportunity for delegates to see and experience what fellow peers are doing to innovate with the shared vision of keeping those who work and travel on our roads, safe and well.
With three theatres of ground-breaking content, external static displays and a dynamic simulation of incursion prevention technology the event really is a game-changer for Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the sector.
