Sustainability Through Durability – How can we make roads last longer and reduce maintenance frequency?
Total’s Rick Ashton and Gary Schofield talk around the acknowledged bitumen ageing characteristics associated with common asphalt failure modes. The discussion will focus on the development of the highly durable Total Styrelf range, where over thirty years of application and performance study has led to the recent launch of Styrelf Long Life, a product that looks set to extend asphalt service life and improve asset management for predictive deterioration modelling.
