A full re-brand of this 20 year old success story is underway; with the name change and logo being the first phase in this new chapter.

Formerly Crown Construction Services (and Crown Cutting Services before that) Crown Highways specialise in street lighting traffic signs loop detectors motorway communications technology and civil engineering works.

We spoke to Crown Highways’ Managing Director Steve Jones about the re-brand what prompted it and what it means for Crown Highways moving forward.

Steve explained: “The need for the re-brand was born out of the necessity to demonstrate the entire spectrum of what we do and what we can offer.

In June of this year Crown acquired a significant shareholding of Mway Communications Limited which also included the acquisition of LD Comms S&S Cabling and Rowarth Civils. In acquiring such reputable and vibrant organisations it also ensured we secured a highly professional workforce with numerous and varying skill sets. Ultimately adding these guys to our own workforce ensures that we are well equipped to meet the challenges of our Clients.”

Although both companies still currently trade independently the Crown Mway deal really does offer the Crown Highways client base a far more extensive and diverse skill set. In effect if you engage one you get both- and who doesn’t like a two for one offer?

Steve concluded: “With offices in The Midlands Manchester and Yorkshire we believe that we are well situated to deliver an unrivalled service. We now feel we have a brand that fully represents our diversity as well as a crisper more modern look with the branding itself.”
