TLS Group – TLS Group Continues Commitment to Christmas Giving and Community Support

At Christmas, TLS Group recognises the importance of giving back to the communities in which it operates, particularly to those facing hardship during the festive period. This year, the company once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility through a series of charitable donations focused on supporting children, families and individuals in need.
As part of its Christmas giving programme, TLS Group donated £1,000 to a charity dedicated to providing Christmas presents for children who are not fortunate enough to receive gifts during the festive season. The initiative helps ensure that children from disadvantaged backgrounds can still experience the joy and excitement that Christmas morning brings.
In addition, TLS Group launched a JustGiving page in the lead-up to Christmas, inviting staff and operatives to contribute to a collective fundraising effort. Through the generosity of the wider TLS team, approximately £1,000 was raised. These funds were used to support the company’s annual food bank round, purchasing essential food items and Christmas presents for distribution through local food banks, helping families and individuals during a particularly challenging time of year.
These initiatives represent the latest chapter in a long-standing commitment by TLS Group to support local communities and meaningful causes throughout the year. The company’s approach to corporate social responsibility extends well beyond the festive period, with ongoing involvement in a range of initiatives that create lasting social value.
TLS Group continues to support grassroots boxing gyms, recognising the important role they play in providing young people with positive outlets, structure and opportunities to build discipline, resilience and confidence in a safe environment. The company also sponsors several local football teams, helping to ensure players have access to the resources and facilities they need, while promoting teamwork, inclusion and community spirit.
In addition, TLS is a proud supporter of the Lighthouse Club Charity, which provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction and highways workers and their families. This partnership aligns closely with TLS’s commitment to supporting people across the sector, ensuring help is available when it is needed most.
TLS’s Christmas giving in recent years has also included a range of targeted community initiatives. During the 2024 festive season, the company delivered food donations to Mission Trinity in Goole, Cowick and Snaith Community Pantry, and Two Rivers Food Bank in Goole, providing vital support to individuals and families experiencing hardship.
TLS also supplied a large chest freezer and a storage facility and shop to the Cowick and Snaith Community Pantry, helping the organisation expand its services and reach more people in need. Further support was provided through a donation to Time and Plaice, a mobile fish and chip shop in Doncaster that delivers warm meals to homeless individuals during the winter months.
Together, these initiatives reflect TLS Group’s belief that businesses have a responsibility to contribute positively to the communities around them. By supporting charities, local organisations and community-led projects, TLS continues to place care, compassion and social value at the heart of its operations, not just at Christmas, but throughout the year.
