TMP | The EVO-Chev is upon us
TMP have done it again- developing a gold standard product within the highways sector.
Introducing: The EVO-Chev.
Designed to comply with BS 12899, TSRGD and BS EN 12767:2007 class 100 NE 4 safety standards, The TMP EVO-Chev is a robust, cost effective chevron system, designed to be passively safe and straightforward to install, with the ability to return to an upright position following impact.
Early interest has absolutely exceeded expectations, with the EVO-Chev proving to be as revolutionary as hoped. We spoke with Dan Robinson, MD of TMP for his thoughts on their latest product. Dan told us:
“The new TMP EVO-Chev has been in development for the past 12 months and like all new TMP products, has gone through strict testing before its official launch. The final design meets current regulations and exceeds the performance criteria we set during the design process. The result is an extremely durable product benefitting from passively safe properties, at a cost effective price.”

The EVO-Chev has been developed to expand the TMP range and provide an alternative to similar products on the market. However, where the EVO-Chev stands out from the crowd is the ease of installation, cutting down time spent in the road at these vulnerable locations. As with the development of any TMP product this is key criteria in any design stage, making the health and safety of the installing workforce an absolute priority.
Furthermore, the EVO-Chev uses the unique and patent pending TMP base system. It takes out the guesswork of spacing at installation and by using individual blades to form the D515 ‘Sharp Deviation of Route’ sign, means that all blades are fully maintainable.
So, despite other ‘similar’ products being available on the market, none can match TMP for robustness, or cost effectiveness.
