Traffex 2015 | Smarter & Stronger

Traffex 2015, the 27th international traffic engineering, road safety, parking and highway maintenance exhibition returns to Hall 5 at the NEC Birmingham from 21st – 23rd April 2015.
Once again will co-locate with Parkex, Europe’s largest dedicated parking exhibition, both exhibitions are free to attend and will provide visitors with the opportunity to meet over 400 exhibitors from the world of transport and parking all under one roof.
Companies from the UK and around the world will use Traffex 2015 as the launch pad for their latest products and services – many of which will be showing in the UK for the very first time. In addition, visitors can enjoy free seminars with a wide range of topical briefings and insights from the traffic and parking industry’s leading experts. This year’s exhibition will also host a brand new highway feature area called ‘How safe are you?’ – a life size street scene to include, a working traffic signal junction, pedestrian cycle crossing and live road works. Also an “After Dark” area will showcase retro reflective safety products. This fully interactive centre piece will help to demonstrate on-going road safety issues for vulnerable road user groups such as pedestrians and cyclists.
Bill Butler, Exhibition Director, comments: “The parking and traffic industry is currently facing multiple challenges regarding new legislation and the use of new technology. What is particularly pleasing in these times of budget cutbacks is that the government is investing a record £6 billion on transport infrastructure, maintenance and improvements to local roads between 2015 and 2021. This year’s Traffex and Parkex at the NEC, Birmingham will showcase many of the new products and services available to councils and provide a one stop shop for senior traffic and parking professionals from local, central government and the private sector.”
