TMCA – TMCA Supports the Next Generation of Equestrian Talent at Sinai Dressage Series 2026

The Traffic Management Contractors Association (TMCA) has continued its support of equestrian sport by sponsoring the 2026 Sinai Dressage 12 & Under Junior Championship – helping to encourage young people to get involved in sport, build confidence and develop new skills.

The sponsorship is the latest in a growing line of equestrian-based activities supported by the TMCA, reflecting the association’s commitment to helping young people stay active, engaged and thriving through youth sport.

And there was plenty to celebrate at this year’s event, with an exciting and competitive field taking to the arena.

Pictured atop her pony Gemma, eight-year-old Lottie emerged as the overall winner of the 12 & Under Junior Championship following a fantastic day of competition.

It is a particularly impressive achievement given that Lottie only took up dressage in late 2025.

Lottie’s mum, Lindsey, explained how the sport has quickly become a major part of her daughter’s life.

"Lottie is 8 years old, and her pony Gemma is 20.

"At the start of the series last September, Lottie didn’t know what dressage was, but we were hoping it would give her something to focus on through the winter. She got hooked straight away and has worked so hard to improve, and her and Gemma’s partnership has blossomed.

"Gemma is a star and will turn her hooves to anything. They also compete together in mounted games and regularly attend pony club rallies where they have started jumping, but it’s safe to say Lottie has now definitely got the dressage bug."

The TMCA was delighted to support Lottie and Gemma as they took the top spot, with their success providing a fantastic example of the opportunities that youth sport can create for young people – from developing new interests and skills to building strong partnerships and friendships along the way.

The event, organised and run by Helen Dawson, was once again fantastically supported across all classes, with competitors taking part across junior, senior and veteran categories.

There was further TMCA involvement in the championships, with TMCA Secretary Belinda Sweet Williams, through Belinda Sweet Williams Training, sponsoring both the Veteran Horse Championship and the Mountain and Moorland Ponies Championship.

Lesley Thomas, riding her own horse Milo, shone in the Veteran category, while Emma Jayne Cassidy, aboard Hector’s Fury, took victory in the Mountain and Moorland category.

The TMCA’s links to the event extended even further, with TMCA member company ERH sponsoring the Team Championship.

The Piaffe Posse ultimately emerged victorious, with riders Janine, Sophie and Tracey steering their horses to championship glory alongside Lesley, who scored her second victory of the day as part of the team event.

With such a strong turnout across the different classes and categories, the Sinai Dressage Series 2026 once again showcased the enthusiasm, dedication and talent that exists across the equestrian community.

For the TMCA, supporting events such as these is about more than simply sponsoring a competition. It is about helping to create opportunities for people to get involved in sport, encouraging the next generation and supporting the communities in which its members live and work.

A huge well done to Helen Dawson for another fantastic event, to all of the competitors who took part, and of course to the champions.
