Traffix | Pioneering Armed Forces Partnership at Highways UK 2017
Traffix recently exhibited at the Highways UK event held at the NEC over the 8th and 9th of November.
This is the second year that Traffix exhibited at the show and, as the only traffic management company in the hall, they were keen to maximise their exposure to both existing and potential clients. As the leading traffic management and events provider with a reputation for innovation, Traffix were also keen to talk through a few ideas with suppliers and industry bodies.
As a business, Traffix are proud of their environmental commitments. To reinforce their credentials, they have just taken delivery of four 19mm solar-powered lift and rotate signs. During the show they received a lot of interest in these signs and as a result, are discussing new opportunities for utilising them on new projects or simply hiring them out. However, this wasn’t the only talking point on their stand…
As with any business, it’s only as good as the people behind it and this is something they take very seriously at Traffix. The company have very high expectations of their employees; therefore, they know the kind of calibre of person that fits our ethos.

Traffix are delighted to be working with the Armed Forces Covenant’s Career Transition Partnership offering serving personnel the chance of employment at Traffix once they leave the service. The Covenant supports serving personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families. Traffix are the only TM company to be involved with this project, and as there are members of their management team who are themselves ex-military this is something they are very proud to be pioneering.
Traffix Operations Director Derek Vinning commented:
”I thought the show was very successful for Traffix. We received a lot of interest in our business – the services we offer, the type of projects we work on and who we work with. We also received praise for our stand. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event.”
