Up To Speed | New Addition

Up to Speed Training and Assessment continue to expand with the addition of Amy Nuttall to their team. As the ‘Up To Speed | Evolution’ article on HighwaysIndustry.Com outlined in February, a recent centre expansion has taken place at UTS to accommodate the increased demand on the company’s services, and a new full time Business Administrator/Receptionist (Amy) is on board.
Having joined Up To Speed in March, and having now had time to settle in, we asked Amy how she’s finding her new role:
“It’s been great, yet hectic.” Amy said.
“I very quickly realised why Up To Speed needed someone. We’re extremely busy and so much is changing but it’s all exciting and I’ve really enjoyed starting here.”
General Manager Adam Mills added:
“Amy has settled in really well and we’re delighted with her. She’s picked up things up very quickly which constantly reminds us we made a great choice when recruiting.”
Amy follows September’s addition Richard Lea in joining the team. Whilst expansion has it’s many plus points for the company, job creation in the community is clearly seen as one of the main highlights:
“It’s great for us.” Adam added.
“We take great pride in the fact that from a business point of view we have grown so much that we need a bigger site, and have expanded our portfolio to offer a lot more, but we are particularly pleased that the knock on effect is that we are creating full time job opportunities for the community around us. Amy is hopefully the first of many staff that we will need to employ as we continue to grow in order to maintain our outstanding reputation for service. Amy joining the team was absolutely essential to ensure we are able to deliver the best possible service to both our existing, and new clients.”
