Up To Speed Now Up and Running in South East

Up To Speed Training & Assessment Ltd the Birmingham-based training company for the Temporary Traffic Management sector has responded to the ever-changing demands of the industry and set up a second training centre in Greenwich East London to enable better accessibility for its growing client base in the South and South East of England.
Formed in 2009 with the aim of facilitating training and assessment for the TTM industry Up To Speed prides itself on ensuring a consistent and efficient level of service to those with training needs. Over the last four years the companys training centre in Birmingham has established itself as a reliable friendly place to carry out training with an honest outlook and forward thinking transparent approach to meeting clients requirements.
But now with the team increasing from the initial three to nine instructor/assessors located throughout the UK and an increasing number of customers coming through the door annually a need has been identified to create another training facility to ensure a fast and efficient service for clients based in Southern England. With this in mind a new base has been set up in Greenwich adjacent to the O2 Arena with great transport links and accessibility by car bus tube and even boat or for the particularly adventurous cable car!
We realise that a huge part of our development is down to the endeavor made by all of our clients who have continually supported us and remained loyal to us throughout and in many cases have travelled long distances to attend training courses at our Birmingham Training Centre says General Manager Adam Mills.
We would like to show that these efforts are greatly appreciated and offer an alternative to having to travel to Birmingham. Managing Director Adrian Pulham believes that the new centre will particularly improve Up to Speeds ability to respond to the needs of the fast-changing industry. He explains: We always envisaged being able to offer clients within the industry a flexible and responsive approach to their training requirements with the embedded understanding that the industry is ever changing. We strive to provide the ability to respond quickly to our clients needs in some cases within 12-24 hours especially for the required Sector scheme 12 assessments. Hopefully by being able to offer this service more locally to the South and South East of England this will considerably enhance the service we already deliver.
The Greenwich Centre will start operating from the end of the November with the first courses scheduled for 30th November 2013 (NHSS 12ab Course) and 1st December 2013 (NHSS 12d T1/T2 Course).
Up to Speed is able to offer training and assessment across a range of disciplines including highways training health and safety and construction training.
