HTM are recruiting for a new Operations Manager to join their ambitious, diligent team in Birmingham, located beneath Spaghetti Junction.
The Role Summary…
Responsible for planning and allocating all resources required to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery as per company instructions.
- Plan and coordinate operational activities ensuring safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Complete all job instructions and ensuring the appropriate safe systems of work are issued.
- Complete briefings for operational activities.
- Daily planning of all plant and labour ensuring full compliance with statutory and industry requirements.
- Manage and monitor employee performance and competency.
- Recognize good employee performance and investigate for poor performance.
- Liaise with HR functions regarding employee performance matters.
- Plan, record and monitor employee working pattern and hours and time off.
- Process employee working hours for payroll.
- Assist in identify training needs and educate employees on HSE matters.
- Manage and monitor drug and alcohol testing.
- Manage positive relationships with supply chain.
- Liaison with relevant persons regarding resources.
