Clearview Intelligence | Double celebration for Clearview at industry awards
Clearview Intelligence have enjoyed an excellent October with industry recognition of the company’s solutions coming in the form of wins at both the annual Highways Awards and ITS (UK) Awards.
Clearview were partners alongside Amey and Transport Scotland, when winning the Road Safety Scheme of the Year at this year’s Highways Awards. The Borders General Hospital scheme made junction improvements and added in the ability for the hospital emergency teams to prioritise ambulances through the new traffic signal set up, enabling paramedics to save vital time in response to emergency calls.
Following on from that, Clearview won the Innovative Use of Technology Award for creativity and outward thinking at the ITS (UK) President’s Dinner. The award recognised the pioneering use of crowd sourced data fed into the company’s Insight software platform to create easy to use live journey time monitoring for all types of road operators.
The judges recognised that the system was a step change from traditional monitoring methods as it is set up in minutes from a computer, eliminates risks to roadworkers, offers increased flexibility, and provides more coverage for the money spent.
Clearview’s Director of Solutions Andy Salotti who was present for both awards commented:
“This is a great validation of all the hard work Clearview puts into creating new ways of helping road operators manage both safety and journeys on their roads. Each year we enjoy working with our partners to add innovation and clever thinking into solutions to problems encountered on the road networks across the UK”.
“Taking part in the industry’s awards programs and gaining recognition of the company’s successful collaborations with our partners and customers is an important way of proving the credibility of our solutions and how they add value for the people we work with and for the road users themselves”.
