Rainline™, Ennis-Flint’s premium embossed road marking thermoplastic system, is specifically designed to improve wet night visibility for drivers. The uniquely designed continuous pattern of inverted profiles on the road surface can be applied as an edge, lane line or centre line carriage markings depending on the most hazardous areas for a particular section of road.
Rainline™ consists of a specialist mixture of light coloured aggregates, pigment, and extender bound together with a thermoplastic binder system. The thermoplastic system prevents water accumulating on the surface of the line or adjacent to it, eliminating a possible cause of aqua planing and icy roads. Even in foggy weather, the markings are visible under sodium lighting, when other markings disappear.
