Up To Speed Training | NHSS 12D Refresher Test

Ever striving to provide efficient training solutions and provide the most up to date training to industry, Up To Speed Training are now able to offer the opportunity to renew NHSS 12D skills by undertaking the new ‘Refresher Test’ only, without the need to sit the course.

For those looking to renew a NHSS 12D qualification, providing their current qualification is in date, they will be able to complete the Refresher Test, which if successful, will renew the skill for 5 years. If the qualification has expired, they will not be eligible to undertake the Refresher Test and would need to complete the relevant NHSS 12D course and test in order to renew the qualification. The Refresher Test option is available for NHSS 12D T1-T4 and T6 qualifications.

Furthermore, for the NHSS 12D T1-T4 Refresher Tests, there are two options available:

• under normal classroom conditions
• via the ONLINE platform utilising the Lantra Proctored exam processor

The NHSS 12D T6 Refresher Test is available under normal classroom conditions only and NOT via the ONLINE platform. As with the current renewal rulings, if the Learner successfully completes the NHSS 12D T6 Refresher Test, this will renew NHSS 12D T1-T4 automatically. However, if the learners NHSS 12D T1-T4 skills have expired, the NHSS 12D T6 Refresher Test will NOT renew those skills.

For learners who wish to update and enhance their knowledge and therefore still prefer to refresh their skills by attending the training course, then that option is still available also.

These Refresher Tests will be available from week commencing 27th April 2020.
